The Nila Indigo Craft Box comes with a complete set of DIY tools and an instruction guide to help you set-up  and maintain a studio vat to use for indigo dye experiments. The craft box is suitable for beginners as well as experienced dyers, for easy studio experiments.

Natural indigo pigment

Alum powder (natural mordant)

Undyed, handwoven cotton stole

Undyed, handwoven cotton bandana

Undyed, handspun cotton yarn

Bamboo spoon and stirrer

Instruction guide

You will need:

Dried tamarind (for a sour vat)

Overripe banana or dates (for a sweet vat)

A wide mouth bowl for mixing indigo

20 litre container, ideally glass

Rubber work gloves
