Made of handspun, handwoven cotton by master weavers in West Bengal, the kurta design is inspired by the shrubs growing in the garden.

It is printed using the ancient Dhabu mud resist techniques in which printing is done using an ancient recipe combining mud, tree gum and sawdust waste, in complete harmony with local, natural resources. Once the Dhabu was applied to the fabric with hand carved wooden blocks and sun dried, the fabric is dyed in the natural Indigo vat.

The breathability and comfort of the kurta makes for a perfect summer staple that can paired with Jungle pyjama.

Composition & Care:
100% handloom cotton
Hand wash separately in cold water and line dry in the shade. The natural indigo may fade slightly over time, with exposure to direct sunlight. The textile may carry subtle irregularities - this is a part of the beauty of handwoven textiles.
