Nila x Pippa Small Chrysoprase Drop Earrings

The Nila x Pippa Small chrysoprase drop earrings are part of our collaborative collection with artist, anthropologist and designer Pippa Small. Sharing Nila’s philosophy of impact through design and craft sustainability, Pippa has generously shared a selection of her designs for this collaboration. 

Designed with a simple gold hook carrying a single gemstone, the earrings are a beautiful example of Pippa’s designs that are inspired by her love for natural forms and delicate details. The stones for the drop earrings have been hand-cut by a third-generation master stonecutter in Sanganer, Jaipur whom Pippa has worked with for over 20 years.  

Chrysoprase is a gemstone variety of chalcedony and comes in a range of fresh, bright greens with a distinct waxy patina. This alluring gemstone is often called the ‘Stone of Venus’, its soothing hue associated with encouraging rejuvenation and healing.  

It is the birthstone for those born in May and June.

Composition and care:  

18k Gold Plated Silver and Chrysoprase gemstone 

Wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid direct contact with water.  

Each piece is individually hand-crafted using natural stones and may vary ever so slightly from the featured images.
