Inspired by serene green pastures, this Baby Quilt is crafted from the softest cotton, featuring a delicate Jamdani pattern on one side and a soothing green chambray on the reverse. The gentle grassy hue is created using only natural colours, a combination of indigo and the leaves from the five-leaf chaste tree, that are safe for your little ones while being gentle on the environment.
The Jamdani weave design has been conceived in-house at our studio and brought to life by skilled weavers in Murshidabad, West Bengal, who specialise in this ancient technique using a supplementary weft. The quilting and stitching have been expertly done by the women of Shakti Samuh, a self-help group affiliated with our sister organisation, Lady Bamford Charitable Trust (LBCT)
Wrapped in its comforting embrace, the Pasture Baby Quilt is a charming addition to any crib, helping to lull your baby into blissful dreams.
Composition - Outer layers: 100% handloom cotton, inner layers: cotton wadding.
