The Fields of Rajasthan Stole draws from the sight of mustard fields in bloom in Mallikpur, a village near Jaipur that houses Nila’s weaving centre.
Crafted from fine cotton handwoven in Murshidabad, the stole is finished with simple tassels at the edges, remaining light and easy to wear.
The embroidery is done by master artisan Bholu, who has brought his practice from Lucknow to Jaipur. Rows of mustard flowers are rendered in yarns dyed with five-leaf chaste plant and catechu, creating a beautiful contrast against the white cotton base.
Light, versatile, and made for everyday use, the stole moves easily across seasons and settings.
