Shades of Green: Resist Printing with Dabu
Date : June 27th & 28th
11 am to 5 pm IST
Indigo is one of the world’s oldest dyes — a deep, magical blue that has captivated dyers for centuries. Join the Nila team for a two-day exploration into the world of natural indigo as we share some of our favourite recipes and techniques. Together, we’ll learn how to create and care for your own natural indigo vat using traditional, plant-based ingredients, and experiment with a range of dyeing techniques on handwoven cotton.
This workshop is open to all skill levels and ages. All materials and lunch at Nila House are included.
You’ll also take home a complimentary Nila Indigo Craft Box — complete with natural indigo powder, handwoven cotton, bamboo tools, wooden resists for clamp-dyeing, and an instruction guide — so you can continue your dyeing journey at home
