RUBIA TROUSERS

The Rubia Trousers are the perfect breezy summer staple. Named after Rubia cordifolia, an Indian variety of madder known for its rich, deep red dye, the trousers feature delicate hand-embroidered motifs of this ancient plant. 

The super-soft cotton textile has been handwoven in West Bengal, then hand-patched, embroidered and stitched by a women’s collective in Rajasthan. The red yarns for the fabric and embroidery have been dyed in natural madder in Maharashtra.

 Composition: 100% handloom cotton and natural madder (Rubia cordifolia). 
 

Care: Gentle hand wash separately in cold water. Line dry in shade. Avoid harsh detergents or liquid soaps.
