STARLIGHT ZERO WASTE PILLOW - BLUE
Embracing a zero-waste approach, the Nila Starlight Pillow is made with precious handwoven textiles that are leftover from our studio productions. Each pillow is truly unique and has a playful patchwork design with iterations of classic stripes and solids in indigo and un-dyed cotton.
The zero-waste methods used to create the Starlight Pillow require patience and expertise. Crafted at the non-profit organisation PANS, each pillow goes through the hands of two or three artisans to cut, stitch, and patch the fabrics together. The pillows are then filled with cotton fibre.
The Starlight Pillow makes for a soft and comfortable addition to a baby's crib, while celebrating craftsmanship, sustainability and community. The fabrics used are all soft, handwoven cotton.The shades of blue have been achieved with natural indigo that is gentle on the skin, making the pillow ideal for babies.A removable cover makes washing easy so that the pillow can be kept clean.
